Q : What type of properties do you buy?
A : We will consider any kind of property and in any condition, including all types of houses, flats, shop and pub buildings.
Q : What areas do you cover?
A : We will consider purchasing properties anywhere in the U.K including Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
Q : Do you buy properties in poor condition or with subsidence?
A : Yes we do. We often buy properties in extremely poor condition and have been known to buy properties with subsidence.
Q : How long does your offer stay open for?
A : Our offer usually stays open for 30 days, and we do reserve the right to review the offer should you come back after this period as there may have been market changes.
Q : Do you buy short leasehold properties?
A : Yes we do! We often buy flats and houses with short leases.
Q : Do you need to come and have a look at our property before making an offer?
A : No we do not. We will base our offer using Land Registry information and we will study the local market.
Q : Will you be sending a surveyor to my property?
A : Normally, we do not carry out a survey unless you have advised us that the property has structural issues.
Q : Is the sale discreet?
A : Yes – The whole sale process is fully confidential and will remain fully discreet and we will not put any ‘For Sale’ boards up outside of your property.
Q: Do you pay the market value for our property?
A : No we do not. Our offer will be below market value, we do not work on a fixed percentage but rather on condition and location of the property.
Q : Are you the actual end buyer?
A : Unlike other companies who masquerade as cash buyers, we are not agents or brokers for private investors. We are the end buyer.
Q : Do I have to pay for any valuation or upfront fees?
A : No – Unlike other national companies we do not charge any valuation fees or any upfront fees whatsoever.
Q : Do you charge any fees for the sale of my property?
A : No – We are the end buyers so no fees have to be paid.
Q : Do I need a solicitor?
A : Yes you will need a solicitor to act for you, however if you do not have one we can recommend one to you from our panel of nationwide solicitors.
Q : Do I have to pay my own legal fees?
A : No – When using a solicitor from our recommended panel, we will pay all legal fees associated to the sale.
Q : My eviction date is tomorrow – can you still help?
A : Absolutely! we have been known to stop evictions the same day.
Q : How long does the sale process take?
A : Normally we buy freehold properties in around 28 days, however we have been known to purchase in as little as 6 days and as long as 6 month depending on your timescale. We will work to a timescale that suits you.
Q : How do I get my money on completion day?
A : Your appointed solicitor will contact you a few days before you are due to complete to request your bank details. All sale proceeds will then be transferred to your account.
