About Oakwood Homebuyers

Oakwood Home Buyers are an independent family run business based in the West Midlands that have been buying houses across the UK for over 20 years.

Inspired by Sarah Beeny’s Channel 4 programme ‘The Property Ladder’ we brought our first house in Leicester through an estate agent to renovate and sell on. We subsequently went on to develop good relations with estate agents who would advise us of properties that needed a quick sale. We quickly realised that we had the correct formula for a home-buying service, dealing directly with the Vendor in order to speed up the process of buying properties. We can proudly boast that we were the first company in the UK to advertise nationally, placing our very first ad in the ‘Daily Mirror’ back in 2001. Since then we have brought hundreds of properties all over the UK, including Ireland.

Fast forward to the present day and we can proudly say that we are still family owned and each and every client is dealt with personally by a member of the family from start to finish giving that old fashioned personal touch. Unlike other so-called ‘home buying companies’ we are fully transparent and we are not agents or brokers for investors, we are the end buyers giving you peace of mind that the transaction will go through smoothly without any hassle.

Our personal approach means that we can give clients the individual care and attention that they require during the sale process with honesty and integrity being very much the ethos of our business.
